CTL's Learning Laboratory is a learning science research facility equipped for the prototyping, testing, and demonstration of educational technology and curriculum. The Learning Lab is equipped with 20 IBM X41 Tablet PCs, as well as a variety of mobile devices, digital pens, and a SMART Board. The Lab's server is a Dell OptiPlex 745 (Core 2 Duo 2.66GHz, 4.0 GB RAM, 250GB SATA hard disk) configured for rapid applications deployment and file distribution/collection to/from the set of tablets and handhelds. The Lab is also equipped with a number of video cameras and table microphones for data collection and conferencing purposes.
